HEIC Compressor

iPhones save photos as HEIC by default, and those files can already be quite large — especially Live Photos and portrait-mode shots. Browsers can't decode HEIC/HEIF directly, so this tool converts it under the hood first, then lets you compress the result, all without leaving your browser.

How the HEIC Compressor works

VIPToolkit's HEIC Compressor accepts a HEIC or HEIF file, decodes it locally in your browser, and hands it to the same Canvas-based compression engine used across the site. Drag the quality slider to trade off size against visual fidelity, then download the compressed result as JPG — the most widely compatible format for sharing, uploading, or emailing elsewhere. Nothing is sent to a server.
