What does the error correction level do?

Higher error correction lets a QR code still scan correctly even if part of it is scratched, covered, or poorly printed — useful if you plan to add a logo in the center or print it small. Higher levels also make the code visually denser, so Medium is a good default unless you have a specific reason to go higher.
