How the PDF Merger works

VIPToolkit's PDF Merger loads every file directly in your browser using client-side PDF libraries — nothing is ever uploaded anywhere. The page count for each file appears as soon as it's read, so you always know exactly what you're combining before you merge.

Does merging affect quality or file size?

No. Pages are copied directly from the source PDFs into the new document without re-rendering or re-compressing them, so text stays selectable, images stay full quality, and the combined file size is close to the sum of the originals.
